Title: Rivers where Commercial jet boats operate
Post by: RonaldC on May 24, 2020, 20:32:08 PM
Hi guys,

You maybe aware that there have been some talks around what happens now that some of the commercial jet boat operations are either scaled down or in recess for the foreseeable future.

That maybe the case but NONE of the specific regulations or bylaws have changed. If a section of river requests or requires us (recreational jet boaters) to make a courtesy call or partake of an induction, then we must. So business a usual really.

I've also been informed today that the camera on the Shotover river is capturing some activity that is being followed up - including paddle boarding. Please don't be the one that makes it harder for us to maintain respectful and cooperative access.
