Due to the yuk condition of the Waimak, Sundays Giant Slalom will now be held in the Ashley River. Enter the river bed on the south side. Turn right immediately before the State Highway 1 Bridge follow the shingle road into the river bed. There is good launching & parking there at the moment.

was all planned & should be back that's what's so annoying.  >:( it was supposed to be back last weekend but apparently backlog at galvanisers is bigger than usual.  :( there's is a chance it may be getting done today, hope so  ::)
