I am under the impresion that the Crooked river has a 10hp ban on it. Besides that it is  slow swampy and boaring. there are many more interesting rivers to boat in the same area. or about the same distance from PG. Wter is up over most banks this spring and will be high for some time to come. Drop me a line and I can show you some other areas that are interesting for sure.

Didn't know the crooked ran that far. HA HA. Make a plan to come to this side of the world. I have lot of room and will have a spare boat as well.unfortunatly I have been bed bound for about 2 months now so the boat will not be takeing any swimming lessons soon.

From memory the Crooked needs a rain event to make the entrance passable. Ive been past a few times during good weather and couldn't get into the channel.....

Under two hours.
The shelf under the willows was tight and worth a look before you commit.
