Don't know if they are kiwi made or not but a lot of them were designed in Adelaide SA by an old colleague of my dads hence the Welding Industries of Australia.
Have one myself albeit a 170, good machines, highly repairable and able to be retrofitted pretty much forever.
Worth a look

Yeah I knew the WIA was a reference to the Aussie heritage - but the original manual says "Made in Auckland"
. Looks like it has sold already too...
