Each year www.jetboatingaustralia.com runs a winter Brass Monkey Run down at the NSW/VIC border amongst the snowy mountains and boat the local rivers which form part of the Hydro Scheme.

Its a great long weekend (up to 4 days for some). Launching friday 24th August at Walwa NSW.
We often have jet boaters from around the country and NZ attending. Its bitterly cold, but the rivers are gin clear, the scenery awesome and pub atmosphere a great laugh.

We have 12 boats and the odd Kiwi confirmed so far.

Should be a good trip........I am going, I have got some winter woolies.....and will bring some Tui ( just for Matt)

Well my tickets have been paid for and I'm on my way.
I'm looking forward to catching up with Tuiman and all the NSW regulars for a couple of days.
Then spending a couple of days in Sydney with Matthew.
I encourage any Aussies to consider making the pilgrimage for this weekend.
Come by yourselves or bring the boat. I think Matthew said there were about 10 to 15 boats so there should be some spare seats. That sounds great!!

Just got my export license to bring over some Tui ...in cans............should be enough for everyone to get a taste...Mind you Matt is picking me up I reckon he will drink it all before we are out of the airport car park....
