West Coast weekend

A group of us went to the coast for a social weekend of boating. The Crooked river was on the list as the upliftng ends next weekend. We cruised over Friday arvo, meeting at Jacksons for dinner. Saturday dawned a sunny day & after a cooked breaky we were off to launch at Moana's flash ramp & across the lake to the Crooked, it was running a little low but everyone made it up to the lunch spot ok.

We had a look at the lady lake stream but it was a bit low & had quite a bit of weed in it so we had to give it away.

After lunch it was back downstream ( passing some coast bloke in a pink tutu swimming the river-stag do I'm guessing  ;D ) The ladies had a drive down the lake to our next spot.

After a great BBQ &  b_r or  b_r b_r Sat night, Sunday dawned another brilliant fine day & it was off to boat the Ahaura.
