Opihi River uplifting

Waitaki Branch have an uplifting for the Opihi River at 30m3 and above at SH1 bridge. It is hoped the Southerly rain forecast should make this possible for this weekend. Uplifting is for JBNZ members only, so if you are not a member, and keen, get yourself signed up pronto. As this uplifting is flow dependant, no date has been set, so it will be advised via Facebook, group txt and on here.

Short notice I know, but the river is up and might go down just as quick so the run is on this morning!!!

Heads up everyone!! Ronald has arranged another permit for tomorrow, Saturday 9th January  If the gauge is above 30m3 at 8am it's a go.
