Time to get rid of that rover rubbish mate, i had three in my boat all lasted a total of about 4hours, i hate the bloody things.

sum of the overhaul parts alone without labour is twice the price of a lexus engine ;)  of course you then have to spend the coin on the rest...

Thats a real bugger Nigel...

Have a chat with Ross Calgher in Waitara Taranaki.

He specialises in british v8's, and usually has bucket loads of bits around for them.

He's built quite few decent horsepower alloys in his time...

Hi Nigel,
Have you checked your valley gasket? It may have pressurised. Mine did the same and dumped oil all over the place, but with a new valley gasket sealed really well and some alteration to the breathers it runs as sweet as ever. Harcourt Engines in Prebleton have plenty of bits and new gaskets.

was a new valley gasket :'( :'(

will pull the engine in the in the week end to find what went wrong

Give it a clean, maybe it just an oil filter seal. But dont the P76 leak anyway?

checked the oil filter....

yes they leak... but not quite that much ::)
