Well we had a great day on the river in all about 9 boats turned up, it was really great to see. We had everything from very small(about 10ft) to very large( over 17ft). from old to new. The weather was a good sunny day with a light southly wind but all in all Mildish. Thanks to Hugh, Johh and Rob who had a ring around and found some more boaters. Some even Hugh said he hadn't seen. The river was in average flow and we made it all the way to the dam. Some skinny water and only got stuck twice. but I was accused of having wheels under the boat again. I had some good pics but with only one day to work out the new digital camera when I got home and it said trash I said ok so I lost the lot.... real pi??ed off. There is a meeting on at the Tin Hutt just out of Featherston which I will go and make my face known and try to generate more interest in this site. John, sorry I missed you at the Pub by the time I got there you had gone :'( :'(  Can't wait to see your new boat when you get it bult.>>>>>>thanks for a good day, We did real well as far as the weather was concerned.>>>>>>Shaun
