These filters are available locally in NZ at most race supplies stores.
Cost about $150 and are good for high and low pressure systems.

if you are running an injected motor make sure you get the right size filter, otherwise at higher rpm you could get a pressure drop and the engine will lean out.
It appears with this gear that the higher flow rate required the higher the price.

as they have cleanable filter etc I think it will not take long before they have paid for themselves.

I think the bottom end units do around 150 litres per hour, so not likely to be an issue for most jetboaters except sprinters and racers

flow may be ok but the the pressure drop and engine leaning out at WOT is the issue for injected motors and we tend to run at WOT a bit  8)

Very good topic. Cant be too carefull with 40psi petrol running inside a boat!  In the persuit of OEM quality and good parts availability, I used a Ryco Z373 with my Lexus. It's cheap, well made, aluminium, and has 1/4 NPT both ends. They are used on nearly every efi Falcon out there including 290kw XR8, so easy to find and good flow rate. I know many OEM efi systems use hose barbs on the high pressure side, but I don't like the idea one bit. Photo below.
