What's the best slip coat to use ?

I drove the old boat for years and years and many hours and lots of pushing  before I tried "Slide" Great stuff. If you put it on too close to the front you'll slide back into the river every time you try to park  I didn't get that advice until too late the first time, but that lot is mostly worn off. I now do the back half of the planing area. Get a cheap 100ml roller brush set from Mega-mitre and a supply of cheap foam rollers, as it's easier to throw the roller away when used  I jack the boat up off the trailer enough to reach and slap it on! After it's been on and rubbed off and replaced a few times, the alloy seems to stay slippery  The down-side is that although it makes the boat easier to push, especially in that soft stuff in the Matukituki, it can also get you further into the skinny places in the first place  . In the video  posted from the recent Rakia run, when my son ran us over a very skinny bit, I'm sure we'd have had to push if the fresh coat of Slide hadn't been there. Needs doing again now  I get 4 or 5 applications out of a tin

You can buy Graphite Lubricant in easy to apply aerosol's. Seems to last as well as Slide & Slip Coat. I purchased mine from local John Deere dealer for approx. $15 per can. I have a few tins of the spray on stuff still. I'm now going to try slide so I can compare the 2.
I used to use Slip Coat or Go Fast years ago, not sure if thats still around?
