Hi , just wanting to know what temp rating others are using in their raw water holden v6? I am having trouble with mine running cold, cheers

mine runs at 70 deg all day long I got a bleed off after sand trap an I test it with the thomo gun its got a 80 deg thomosat in the raw water cooler reduse the hole in the cooler mines got a 10mm hole hope this helps daggs

Ended up pulling the thermostat out and checking in boiling water , was opening all right but put another one in , a 91deg one and drilled two 2mm hole in it and tested this morning. Motor heated up a lot quicker and stayed at about 75-80 on the gauge so a lot happier with that. Only had the garden hose in it but will have to check in the lake with engine working a bit harder to get a real feel for it. The old thermostat was a 82 deg one with a 4 mm hole in it but always sat down at about 55-60 deg , so maybe hole to big or who knows. Working good now
