i have tried a 98 nozzle  went great.  a big jump in performance  no slip  but as the day went on it started slipping so went down 96/94 but now back to 90 as it was slipping after 10 hrs boating in wanaka over easter with the Canterbury lads.
i pulled unit apart and the blades need ods done and leading edge badly beaten up .

Nothing like abit of power too keep your unit honest  b> .
At the end of the day only you will know for sure what suits your driving style best .
Sounds like 10 hrs in Wanaka would be 3 years in the Waikato  l-l l-l

i will rebuild the blades and have another play revs were up 5400 with the 98 nozzel it goes great i love it . but i will keep my eye open for some bigger blades .
im not after top speed i want the hole shot as the rivers i boat on the west coast can get a bit lumpy for high speed running .

I need the size from Front to back of the boss.

Just measured two of them: 2.499" and 2.504", so I'd say aim for 2.5".
