Aluminum oil tank build questions
«

Hey guys I'm needing to build an aluminum oil tank for my mini. It will replace a plastic factory oil tank. the question I have is what type of venting should I use?
the factory has two vent lines coming off the plastic filler neck. I will not be using that in the new setup. Any help would be great.
Thanks

Just use a cap with a vent/breather.
A motorcycle fuel cap with breather will work.
Or just drill and tap 1/8th bsp in the top somewhere and screw in a hosetail.

G'Day Fella's,
BLOME, from what I understand, the end of any breather line/filter, needs to be higher than the top of the oil tank.
Hope that helps
