connecting VHF to earmuffs
« on: December 06, 2015, 18:32:44 PM »
anyone found a technology/product to connect earmuffs to VHF  radio. we have  found powered earmuffs that you can connect to a remote microphone but lots of cables made it a bit cumbersome. The ultimate would be a VHF that you could connect via blue tooth to a VoX earmuffs (like you wear in a helicopter)and being cheap jet boaters it would have to be realistically priced.

I been looking into something like that for a few months now but only have minimal results.
I was thinking about something like the set up some of those bigger American harleys have for driver-passenger comunication....?

Peltor Earmuffs have a plugin you may have to get or make a longer cord but would not be hard... Check out this Peltor Type M2RX7A 290  No 0299000580 EN352 We used them and I rate them... Cheers JR
