Hey guys. Ive sprung a leak under the water bridge on my lexus, i think its a pipe that goes to the heater circuit which is looped. This it a real pain to get to to fix and requires removing inlet manifold and heeps of stuff. My question is can i block this off to prevent this hapening again? Thanks in advance

Not totally sure on the 1uzfe but usally it lets the water circulate around the block. instead of it sitting until the thermostat opens. Then you get water hotter in some points and cooler than others. Had this issue on a old rover. Wasn't good

Cheers. Found it spat a o ring out. Will put new oring back in and new thermostat. Thermostat had probaly a 6mm hole drilled in it and that was probaly allowing too much water to pass through and making the trhemostat not open. And in turn i closed of my water bypass tap to divert more water through the engine (because oil temp was rising)which would if raised pressure and spat the oring probaly
