Help with early wooden hull identification
«
on:

I have just inherited the remains of my families old jet boat. I am hoping to build a replica wooden hull with the old parts. I have attached a family photo of the boat (and old family) with the hope someone maybe able to identify the hull type. The boat was solid wood construction not glass. It had a Chinock jet unit that was built in 1963, and powered with a Zepher 6 cylinder. It was about 15-16 ft long.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Henry

After a few discussions with various people and Hamilton Jet, we have discovered that this hull was one of 4 plywood jet 50 hulls built at Irishman Creek before they built the fibreglass jet 50 in Chch. Hamilton Jet still have one so I shall be taking measurements from it to build a replica. Thank you for peoples help.
