With the on going pandemic paranoia it has caused me to have a minor panic attack of my own, sending me on component spending spree just in case Cindy sends the rest of NZ back into lockdown. Better to be prepared 

I ordered a Jeffjet 3.0 to be cut by Mike from LVB and hopefully it will be cut and folded shortly.

Specs. (Subject to change  )
3000mm x 1290mm
10mm 5083 delta with 12mm hdpe.
2 piece nuke proof transom.
5mm outers and 3mm sides
Honda L15A7 with 2527 Chinacharger turbo
2 stage hybrid Kawasaki/DIY 157mm pump.

It will be nothing that you guys haven't seen already but I will post progress updates.

So far I've made an adapter to bolt the teeny tiny turbo directly to the head.

And I've started on the Laminova intercooler in the inlet manifold. Trying to keep it as smooth and as uncluttered as possible.

Got a few more bits done, finished the intercooler end caps and my boy James machined the drive coupling to match Honda flexiplate 👍👍👍. Counterbored the Kawasaki coupling and used the longer bolts from the manual transmission model. I'm stoked he's showing an interest in shed stuff.

I just weld the ring gear off the CVT torque converter straight to the flexiplate. These Honda flexiplates are slightly thicker than the Suzuki M series and don't seem to crack ........ yet

The tube was slightly to tight to slide laminova core into so I split and added 3mm in.

I normally just bolt the ring gear to that flex plate? Pretty sure the holes are already there?

One engine mount made, two to go

Had a small opps when trimming excess weight off the little Honda (Jeff had warned me that they're a bit thin....what would he know 🤔)
Anyways...2 small cam chain viewing windows later I made some patches to weld back in, but I wacked the alloy plug right in to the engine. Tried tipping it upside-down and shaking but only oil and coolent came out  so pulled the sump and found the missing bit. Taped oil return from turbo while it was apart.
Made an intake today

pretty much finished the inlet/intercooler, just a few touch-ups on the welding that the QC dept pointed out......🤦‍♂️

Got a bit more progress done 
I had to shorten the driveshaft by 125mm, the first attempt caused a bit of stress as it was too tight and I couldn't get it pressed together before the temperatures equalized  .
My engineering advisor had put me crook by telling me that 0.07mm interference would work...... anybody with any idea would know 0.06mm is optimum. Second attempt worked well and ended up nice and straight.
The hi-lift jack was called into action to bend the 10mm delta for a nice smooth lead in to the intake.

There's 1 bearing and 4 seals, they are held in a little carrier that is gunked into the intake tube with mastic to allow a small amount of movement and absorb vibration.
