Welcome to the forum... Well someones had a fiddle with the impeller which will need some attention to make it good again.
How skilled and handy are you at mechanical work and fixing stuff? Before you spend anymore money. Inspect the whole setup. Does the engine run? Probably be worth compression testing it. How good is the hulls condition? Steering working has it a reverse bucket? How good is the trailer? Where abouts are you located? Have you any other pics of the whole boat. The answers to them questions will answer the questions not yet asked.
Don't despair it all just yet... hopefully it was cheap? Worse case scenario is selling the 253, trailer, hull and jetunit for separately and recovering some $$$ or maybe even turn a profit!!!

Oh yeah it was cheapest. Motor sounds good. Boat is good too. The blades just bit worn and damages really just looking for another instead of welding it. The holes are from the factory who made them i was going to use it and run it.around the lake but ill try find one..Mechanical  stuff is easy can use neighbours tractor to lift motor out to clean it all up

Hi just got of phone to a member on here got a heap of info. Kellarcraft was a Sydney company and mec was a Melbourne one from the 60s. I'll persevere with it might end up using a proper nozzle rather than the elephants trunk.
