Reverse bucket install
« on: December 31, 2021, 09:22:12 AM »
Hi all. I thought this may be helpful for those that may upgrade their reverse bucket. I brought this universal one off SSS but its the same unit as supplied by Harris and others.
Mine is installed on a Colorado 2 stage that's mounted on a 5deg angle plate, 12deg hull.
Performance is excellent, rips me off the trailer now with mint reverse steering. A massive step up on what I had.
As per pic attached I drilled the hole
20mm down from the top edge of the arm. Distance will be relevant to the nozzle you have.
I welded 2 x 40mm bosses on the inside of the arms, machined up and installed plastic top hat bushes and spacers.
Have a good New Year.
