Hello, is it possible to turn a 753 into a 752 with some machine work to the impeller shaft etc? thanks.

100% you can do that, but seriously recommend buying a 2 stage main shaft and keeping the ability to return to a 3 stage.
Easy to shorten a shaft, harder to lengthen.
The control shafts will need the same but this is easier to do.

Don't cut your shaft. I had the same issue and spoke with Keith at Rakia Marine and all you have to do once you remove the stator and impeller is make a spacer from a used cutlass bearing the same width as your impeller then bolt your unit together. There is enough room in the tail housing to fit the extra length of the three stage shaft. Obviously you will need to shorten your shafts or make a second set so you can change it back.
