Taranaki has grown from its beginnings in 1976 to a branch with a high percentage of member engagement on events and trips.
The rivers in the area provide plenty of challenges and diversity.
Taranaki has clubrooms at Lake Ratapiko with stunning views of Mt Taranaki and a dedicated committee who provide a variety of local events and out-of-area trips for members.

The stunning Lake Ratapiko is the home of Jet Boating NZ Taranaki and is the venue for many of our annual branch Events. This impressive vista is available for hire - the perfect setting for a work BBQ or special family day!
